It has been a little while since we’ve posted a featured Mac setup, but we’re back at it again with this weeks featured workstation. This time we’re going to share the desk setup of Richard R., who uses OS X, iOS, and Ubuntu Linux to run and operate his own IT consulting company out of Dallas Texas. Let’s jump right in and learn a bit more:
What hardware is included in your Mac setup?
The workstation includes the following:
- MacBook Pro with 13″ Retina display (2014 model) – 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD
- 27 inch AOC IPS LED Display
connected to the MacBook Pro
- MacBook Air 11″
(2013 model)
- iPad Air 64GB
- Dell Workstation running Ubuntu
- Dual 22″ Dell displays connected to the Ubuntu computer
Tell us a bit about how you use the Mac and PC?
The MacBook Pro is my daily driver and primary work computer.
The Dell workstation functions primarily for monitoring clients servers and performing network maintenance tasks.
