The Interview is now available on iTunes http://goo.gl/gcKhbw

You can now download or stream The Interview from iTunes. Apple originally denied Sony's requests to pick up and distribute the high-profile film, but it has seemingly changed its mind.

According to a report from The New York Times, Sony wanted to get the film on iTunes so badly that it reached out to the White House for assistance — but Apple wasn't interested. At the time, it wasn't clear if Apple didn't want to be involved with the controversial film or if some other issue got in the way of a partnership. The report merely said that Apple wasn't ready to host the film — "at least not on a speedy time table." Sony ultimately released the film on YouTube and Google Play Movies, as well as a number of independent movie theaters around the country, on Christmas day. However, if iTunes is more your style, you can now get the raucous comedy from there as well. It costs $5.99 to rent and $14.99 to buy.
